Theis Pedersen, Project and Development Manager at Søren Jensen Consulting Engineers A/S, believes that the construction industry is ready to move in a more regenerative direction, but that this requires long-term thinking and new partnerships.

He highlights Mission Lab as an important initiative because it brings new expertise and perspectives into an industry that otherwise often operates within fixed frameworks. According to him, it is precisely this interdisciplinary approach that can drive the necessary breakthroughs - at the same time, he calls for concrete solutions and stronger business cases that can make regenerative construction economically attractive and scalable.
