Newsletter #4: Regenerative Construction

Get an insight into the “Mission Lab for Regenerative Construction” project through publications that document the process and research on the topic of “regenerative building”.

This newsletter #4 brings together highlights, reflections, and new perspectives from the fourth in-person session of Mission Lab, held at Thoravej 29 in Copenhagen in January 2026.

The session focused on ecosystem thinking and the potential of seven proposed courses of action. Participants engaged in dialogues across roles and perspectives - from regulators and implementing actors to the leaders, thinkers, and practitioners of the future - and together they explored how regenerative principles can be put into practice.

In this publication, you’ll meet researchers, opinion leaders, pioneers, activists, and leaders who, from various perspectives, are working to advance the building industry. Through presentations, debates, and reflections, the publication explores how action can be organized, coordinated, and amplified across the value chain, so that the transition does not depend on isolated initiatives but can move toward a new shared vision by 2075.

The purpose of this report is to provide insight into a process and research on the topic; it does not represent final results.
