What will the built environment look like in 2075? Through collective imagination and cross-industry dialogue, eight visionary scenarios for the future of regenerative building have been developed.
Under the direction of Mission Lab, work has been done on scenarios for building in 2075 - an experiment in future thinking in which participants have collaboratively created visions for regenerative building. The result is eight scenarios ranging from bioregional building ecology and land management for all species to flexible buildings and car-free cities. The scenarios reflect a deeper understanding of systems and a new balance between people, nature, and technology. They can serve as guiding principles that inspire and steer today’s decisions toward desired futures.
