Gain insight into the process and research surrounding the topic of “regenerative building” through newspapers from the “Mission Lab for Regenerative Building” project.

This newspaper #3 compiles highlights, reflections, and new perspectives from the third in-person event of Mission Lab, held at Domen in Aarhus in October 2025.

The event focused on economics, value, and material flows as central pillars in the transformation of the building industry. With an eye toward 2075, it explored how building can be understood as more than individual structures - as an interwoven system of resources, relationships, values, and cycles.

In this issue, you’ll meet researchers, opinion leaders, material pioneers, and leaders who, from various positions, are working to develop the building industry. Through presentations, case studies, and reflections, the publication explores questions about how value can be understood and measured beyond economic returns, and how the building industry can contribute positively to ecosystems, communities, and society’s long-term resilience.

The paper aims to provide insight into a process and research on the topic and does not represent final results.
